CBSE board exam toppers of previous years have accepted that they used to have a goal-oriented study plan. Instead of preparing a particular subject for a few hours, make a goal and achieve that within a specified time.

· Take A Break

To score good marks in the CBSE board exam, do not devote long hours to studies, include some breaks in between your study hours. It’s just a myth that for better preparation, you will have to study for 8-10 hours continuously. Give a break to your mind, let it get relaxed then give a fresh start to your preparation.

You can apply the Pomodoro Technique to prepare for the board exam. In this technique, dedicate 25 minutes to study and take a break for 5 minutes. It will give time to your mind to settle down and won’t affect your studies much. If you want, then you can opt-out of the advanced version of this technique by giving 50 minutes to study and 10 minutes break.

· Follow Smart Revision Plan for Board 2020

Revision is an integral part of the exam preparation. The more time you will give to the revision, your grip will become more firm on the topic. Usually, students write down the answers to revise them, but there are few smart revision techniques also available that can help the students in a better way and in less time.

Use the Feynman technique to revise the topic and the formulas you have learned and understood. Once you feel like you have prepared a topic, then take a paper and write down the concept of the problem on it. Write down the question as if you are teaching it to someone. If you find any flaws while teaching the imaginary students, then give more time to the problem and prepare it with more dedication.

· Practice Sample Papers

If you want to have a smart revision plan for Board 2020, then it’s a must for you to practice the sample papers and solve the unsolved papers. The preparation strategy helps you to understand and be familiar with the exam pattern of the CBSE board exam and also make you proficient in the subject. Keep a stopwatch in front of you while attempting the sample papers. Try to solve at least ten sample papers for each subject before the exam.

· Group Study

Many parents are not in favor of group studies. They feel that students spend time in useless chit chat during group studies. But the fact is that group studies help students learn and keep the concept in mind for a longer time. But here the responsibilities rely on the students’ shoulders that how they use their group study time. Its board exam and every second is valuable.

· Last Month Strategy

When you have only 30 days in hand for the preparation of board exams, then instead of getting nervous, give most of your time to solving sample papers. The last month should be only for revision. If you could not complete your course before the 30 days from the exam, then divide your time in between preparation and revision.

The Bottom Line

Your performance in the 2020 board exam will depend on your preparation for the exam. There is no concept of 11th-hour study plan, so still, if you are waiting for the right time to start your training, then get up as the right time is already here. We understand that board exam creates a lot of pressure on students. But don’t feel pressurized; do your preparation well and stay focused.
