Eligibility Criteria

Affordability Of Engineering

While looking at the top engineering colleges, dreaming about studying there and making a lucrative career ahead, one question that crosses every individual’s mind is “ how affordable is studying engineering in India?”

Well…to answer that question, everyone cannot afford pursuing engineering courses in India as the fees are sky high. While 58% of engineering colleges charge an annual course fee more than Rs 5 lakh, 17% of Engineering colleges  charge fees ranging from Rs 3-5 lakh, 16% of Engineering colleges have a fee structure that ranges from Rs 2-3 lakh,  2% of Engineering colleges in India have a fee structure between Rs 1-2 lakh and only  around 7% of Engineering colleges are economical with a fee structure of less than Rs 1 lakh. That being said, pursuing an engineering course in India is not everyone’s cup of tea as these sky high fees cannot be afforded by most individuals.
