Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) is inviting applications for filling 1384 post of assistant professor in various subjects. Candidates interested in teaching career can apply for GPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2019 before March 5, 2019. Candidates will be able to make online correction to the application from 9-14 March 2019.

CGPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2019 – Vacancy Details
As per the official notification, CGPSC will recruit 130 Assistant professor for English, 116 for Physics, 184 for Commerce, 59 for Political Science, 9 for Home Science, 50 for Hindi, 150 for Chemistry, 61 for Economics, 147 for Botany, 52 for Geography, 99 for Mathematics, 1 for Tasar Technology, 56 for History, 125 for Zoology, 36 for Sociology, 3 for Sericulture, 8 for Psychology, 5 for Geology, 6 for Computer Science, 32 for Law, 8 for Micro-Biology, 1 for Forestry, 20 for Computer Application, 5 for Sanskrit, 1 for Biochemistry, 8 for Information Technology.
Application Fee
General category candidates are required to pay Rs. 400 as application fee, whereas OBC/SC/ST and PH (Divyang) candidates need to pay Rs. 300 as application fee. The payment mode for examination fee is online, so candidates can pay it through Debit card, Credit card or Net Banking only.
CGPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2019 – Eligibility
As per the notification,
- Candidates must have Master Degree in related subject with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET/SET/SLET Exam passed from UGC/CSIR.
- MPhil/PhD candidates are not required to have passed the NET/SET/SLET Exam.
- Candidates should be 21-35 years in age as on 01/01/2019 for Chhattisgarh Domicile general category candidates. The age requirement will be different for different post, so please check the official notification for the same.
- Age relaxation will be given only to Chhattisgarh Domicile Reserve category candidates.
