Kareena Kapoor, often called Bebo, also known by her married name Kareena Kapoor Khan is an Indian actress who is a member of the first family of Indian cinema, Kapoors and is a 4th generation movie star.

Early Life

Kareena was born on 21st September 1980 to a Sindhi-Punjabi couple, Babita and Randhir Kapoor, in Mumbai. She is the younger sister of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor. She is the maternal granddaughter of actor Hari Shivdasani, paternal granddaughter of loved actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor, and niece of actor Rishi Kapoor.

Education

Kareena Kapoor did her schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai and completed her graduation from Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun. After her graduation, she studied commerce at Mithibai College in Mumbai. She later enrolled for law education at the Government Law College in Mumbai, but for her acting career, she did not complete the law course and started taking training at an acting institute mentored by Kishore Namit Kapoor.

Marriage

On 16 October 2012, Kareena married Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan (10th Nawab of Pataudi). On 20th December 2016,  Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi was born at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. She is also a step-mother of Sara and Ibrahim.

Career and Awards

Kareen has acted in over 50 Bollywood films. She made her acting debut opposite Abhishek Bachchan in the film Refugee in 2000. She also earned a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. After that, she was starred in Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai opposite Tushar Kapoor. She got the fame from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The journey that started from Refugee moved upwards.
