National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for conducting entrance examinations in the country. All other bodies like CBSE, AICTE etc. have been replaced by NTA to conduct exams including JEE Main, CTET, NEET UG, UGC NET and more. The JEE Main and NEET exams will be conducted twice in a year by NTA and, CMAT & GPAT exams will be conducted once in a year.
NTA will release the exam planning for the aspirants in advanced so that they can start their preparations accordingly. NTA has recently published its exam planning for 2019.
Here is the list of all the exams conducted by NTA in 2019.
- JEE Main 2019
JEE Main is the joint entrance exam to get the admission in the top engineering colleges of the country. Earlier this exam was conducted by CBSE. From 2019 onwards JEE Main exam will be conducted twice in a year, the first time in January and second time in April. The online application form for the first attempt of JEE Main 2019 is out.
- NEET 2019
NEET is the national eligibility cum entrance test for the students who want to pursue their career in the medical field. The NTA will conduct the exam of NEET twice in a year starting from the year 2019. The exam of NEET will be conducted in the month of February and May. NTA has released the schedule for both of the attempts of NEET. The online application form of NEET will be available from 1st October 2018 for the February month’s exam.
- CMAT 2019
The common management admission test (CMAT) will also be conducted by the NTA. NTA has published the exam schedule of CMAT for 2019. This is an entrance exam for the students who want to take admission in the management courses provided by AICTE approved Institutions and university.
According to the NTA’s schedule, the CMAT exam will be held on 28 January 2019. The online registration for the CMAT 2019 will start on 1st November 2018. NTA didn’t make any changes in the syllabus and exam pattern of CMAT.
- GPAT 2019
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national level entrance exam for the pharmacy graduate. Successful candidates get the admission in the M. Pharmacy program based on their GPAT score. Earlier this exam was conducted by the AICTE. GPAT exam is now conducted by NTA from 2019.
NTA has published the revised examination dates and other information related to GPAT 2019. The registration process for GPAT 2019 will start on the 1st November 2019. The exam will be conducted on 28th January 2019.
- UGC NET 2018
The authorities of NTA will be responsible for conducting the UGC NET exams. UGC NET exam is conducted to select the candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and the award of Junior Research Fellowship. UGC NET 2018 will be the first exam conducted by NTA. The registration for UGC NET 2018 is still going and 30 September 2018 will be the last date for the online registration of the same. The exam of UGC NET is scheduled between 9th to 23rd December. The result of UGC NET will be declared in January 2019. This will be an offline exam.
