Indian Air Force (IAF) has released a notification for the Airmen recruitment. The applications are invited from male candidates. The notification states that the candidates will be recruited for the X Group and Y Group 01/2020 Batch. Interested candidates that are eligible must apply for the posts.

- The application process is set to start from Jan 1, 2019.

Eligibility
The candidates need to meet both physical and educational eligibility criteria to apply for the Indian Air Force Airmen selection test.
Physical Eligibility
- Candidates must be 152.5 CMS in height
- Minimum weight of the candidate should be 55 kg
- Chest Minimum expand is 5 CMS
Educational Qualification
X Group (Technical)
- Candidates should have completed their intermediate with subjects, Maths, Physics and English, with minimum 50% marks, or
- Have completed 3 years Polytechnic Diploma with minimum 50% marks.
Y Group
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 with a minimum 50% marks, with 50% marks in English. Or
- Have completed 2-year vocational course with minimum 50% marks.
Age
- The candidates applying for X Group, Y Group should have born between 10/01/1999 to 01/01/2003 (both dates inclusive).
Application Fee
- All candidates have to pay 250/- as application fee.
Candidates can make fee payment through credit card, debit card, net banking or offline through Axis Bank E Challan.
Selection Process
The selection process for the IAF X Group and Y Group include:
- Written Test
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Adaptability Test – I and II
- Medical Examination
