Answer 1: On 27th July 2020, the first batch of Rafael Jets flew out of France for India. The jets will reach India on 29th July 2020. The Rafael jets can attain 2,222.6 km/hr of maximum speed. These jets can climb up to 50,000 feet and can be refueled in the mid air.

Answer 2: The Global Forest Resources Assessment (FRA) report recently released by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has ranked India at 3rd position among the 10 countries where an increase in forest cover is seen in the last decade.

Answer 3: On 26th July 2020, India marked Kargil Vijay Diwas. On 26th July 1999, Indian Government culminated “Operation Vijay” and after three-month long battle declared victory in Kargil.

Answer 4: On 25th July 2020, the Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Shri Kiren Rijiju said that Haryana will host the 4th edition of Khelo India Youth Games, which will be conducted after Tokyo Olympics.

Answer 5: On 25th July 2020, the Reserve Bank of India under the currency swap agreement with Sri Lanka, has extended 400 million USD of currency swap. The agreement will remain active till November 2022.

Answer 7: South Korea has recently launched its first ever military satellite
“ANASIS II” to defend itself against North Korea. The satellite was launched
in a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, US .

Answer 8: On 23rd July 2020, China launched its first successful Mars probe named Tianwen 1 from the Wenchchang spacecraft launch site.
The space probe will take seven months to reach Mars, in doing so it will cover 400 million kilometres distance from the Earth.

Answer 9: On 22nd July 2020, Sahil Seth, Deputy Commissioner of Mumbai Customs, has been appointed as honorary adviser of steering committee for BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).

Answer 10: Shri Arun Kumar has been nominated as the Vice-Chairman of the International Union of Railways. He will work with the current chairman of the International Union of Railways Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav.
