Ans. 1    This year the Joint military practice session of India and Thailand’s forces named as Maitree will be held in Meghalaya. The joint military practice between India and Thailand is being held since 2006 every year.

Ans. 2    Tamil Nadu State introduced penalty and imprisonment on defacing trees on the roadside.  This penalty of Rs.25,000 and a jail term of up to 3 years will be imposed on those will put up advertisements, cables, and lights on trees.

Ans. 3    Hindi Diwas is observed every year on 14 September all over India since 1953. On this day in 1949 Constitution Assembly adopted Hindi as official language of India.

Ans. 4    Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat launched ‘Mukhya Mantri Dal Poshit Yojna’ in the state to two kilograms of two different types of pulse to the state ration card holders on lesser price than the market price.
