Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal in the men’s javelin throw at Tokyo Olympics with a throw of 87.58m in his second attempt.

  • Lokmanya Tilak National Award was started in the year 1983.

  • The award had been given to various famous personalities including Indira Gandhi, Atal Biharee Vajpayee, Dr. Manmohan Singh, Pranab Mukherjee, N R Narayana Murthy among others.
