Answer 1: On 21st January 2021, the BSE Sensex crossed 50,000 for the first time.

Answer 2: National Migration Support Portal “ShramShakti” has been launched by the Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda.

Answer 3: The US President Joe Biden has proposed extending New START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty) Treaty by 5 years. This proposal has also been welcomed by Russia.

Answer 4: The Border Security Force recently launched the Operation Sard Hawa in the western border of Rajasthan. The operation aims to check the instances of infiltration in the region due to dense fog.

Answer 5: The LongOps Project is a collaboration between Japan and UK, under which the scientists from both the countries collaboratively will develop new and safe technologies for dismantling old nuclear facilities like the Fukushima, which were severely damaged by earthquakes and tsunamis.
