Answer 1: EChO Network has been launched by Government of India (GoI), which is a program to provide a template for cross-disciplinary leadership in India. This network focuses on increasing research, knowledge, and awareness of Indian ecology and the environment.

Answer 2: Government of India (GoI) has signed a $490 million loan with
Asian Development Bank (ADB) for public-private partnership (PPP) project for upgradation of approx. 1,600 km of state highways and major district roads (MDRs) from single-lane to two-lane widths, in state of Madhya Pradesh.

Answer 3: National Rail Transport Institute (NRTI) signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Birmingham in Rail Bhawan, New Delhi to set up its first Centre of Excellence for Next Generation Transportation Systems. NRTI is a deemed to be university under Union Ministry of Railways.

Answer 4: The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has become the first country to recognize Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP) pursuant to the efforts of Department of Commerce and Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

Answer 5: Ethiopia has launched its first satellite named ‘Ethiopian Remote Sensing Satellite’ (ERSS) from China. ERSS is a remote-sensing microsatellite launched that was sent into space together with 8 other satellites by a Long March-4B carrier rocket from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center (TSLC) in Shanxi Province, North China.
