Age Limit

To apply for this post the age of a candidate must be less than 35 and more than 24 years on the 1st August 2018. This means a candidate must have been born not earlier than 1st August 1984 and not later than 1st August 1994. Relaxation in age will be granted to SC, ST, and OBCs according to the predefined rules.

Salary

For these posts of RBI Specialist Officer Grade B, the offered salary is 35,150/- as a basic salary per month. RBI SO Grade B officers will also get other allowance like TA, DA, HRA, and others. At present candidates may draw approx 75,831/- as gross salary (this amount can be changed if there is any change in policies).

Exam Pattern

Selection for the RBI Specialist Officer Grade B post will be done by online/offline examination. To clear this examination candidate will have to pass in 3 papers.

Paper –I will be objective based. Professional knowledge in the area of Specialization will be examined in this paper. Duration of paper I will be 90 minutes and the total score will be 100.

Paper- II is an online descriptive exam of English language. In this paper, the candidate will have to type his/her answer with the help of a keyboard. Duration of this paper will be 90 minutes and the total score will be 100.

Paper-III is also descriptive exam but this will be conducted offline (paper-based). In this exam also candidate’s professional knowledge in the area of specialization will be checked. This will also be a 100 marks exam with a duration of 90 minutes.
