ISRO 2019 Important Dates

Below mentioned are the ISRO 2019 exam date and other important dates for Scientist/Engineer in the disciplines of Electronics, Civil, Mechanical, and other.

  • ISRO 2019 Application form will be released on 31st January 2019.
  • Candidates can apply for the aforementioned posts till 20th February 2019.
  • The last date to submit the fee online is 21st February 2019.
  • ISRO will upload the call letter on its website by 2nd week of April 2019.
  • ISRO 2019 exam date is decided as 22nd April 2019.
  • The result of the ISRO 2019 exam will be declared in May 2019.

Here are the details of ISRO 2019 exam for SC posts for BE/B. Tech in Civil, Electrical, Refrigeration & AC, and Architecture.

  • ISRO 2019 application form will be available for a candidate online from 13th Feb 2019.
  • Candidates can apply for ISRO 2019 till 05th March 2019.
  • Applicants can fill the application fee for ISRO 2019 till 06th March 2019.
  • Candidates can download the call letters from 05th April 2019.
  • ISRO 2019 exam date for SC post is 22nd April 2019.
  • ISRO 2019 Result will be declared for above mentioned posts on 15th May 2019.

Details of ISRO 2019 exam date for the post of JRF (Junior Research Fellow) is as follows;

  • ISRO 2019 application form will be available for the post of JRF from 13th January 2019.
  • The last date to apply for JRF post in ISRO is 2nd February 2019.

  • Application form for Trainee Technician Apprentice will be released by ISRO on 18th December 2019.
  • Applicants can fill the ISRO 2019 application form for the post of Trainee Technician Apprentice till 29th December 2019.

ISRO 2019 Eligibility

Here is the detail of eligibility criteria to join ISRO at different posts.

·  FOR SC

Age Limit for SCs in ISRO

  • To apply for any post in ISRO, candidate’s age must not be more than 35 years.

Educational Qualification for SC

  • To apply for the post of SC in ISRO, the candidate must have obtainedE./ B. Tech or qualifying degree. Only those candidates will be considered those has passed the aforementioned degree courses with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA of 6.84 on a scale of 10.
  • If a candidate is in the last year or last semester of his/her engineering programme and fulfilling the above mentioned marks related conditions then the candidate can apply for ISRO 2019.
  • Candidate with diploma along with B.Tech/ B.E (Lateral Entry) will be considered as eligible for ISRO 2019 recruitment.
  • Tech candidates can also apply for ISRO 2019 if they have completed B. Tech with minimum 65% marks or 6.84 GPS out of 10.

Here candidates should make a note that their stream in B. tech should be according to the requirement of ISRO.

· For JRF

Age Limit for JRF in ISRO

To apply for the post of JRF in ISRO the applicant’s age should not be more than 28 years as on 02.02.2019. Candidates from reserved categories will be entitled to get the relaxation in upper age limit.

Educational Qualification for JRF

  • An applicant with PG degree in basic science with NET or equivalent Qualification can apply for JRF in ISRO.
  • Candidates with professional courses’ PG degree are eligible to apply for the JRF post in ISRO.
  • According to ISRO 2019 eligibility criteria, professional degree graduate along with NET or GATE can be considered for the post of JRF in ISRO.

· For Trainee Technician Apprentice

Age Limit for Trainee Technician Apprentice in ISRO

To apply for the post of Trainee Technician apprentice, the candidate’s age should not be more than 30 years as on 29th December 2019.

Educational Qualification for Trainee Technician Apprentice in ISRO

  • To apply for Trainee Technician Apprentice a candidate must have passed diploma in or after 2015. As per ISRO 2019 eligibility, Candidates with a degree in the required stream can only apply till July 2019 for the aforementioned post in ISRO.

ISRO 2019 Exam Pattern

ISRO 2019 exam pattern for the post of SC consist an initial screening, written exam followed by an interview.

  • In the initial screening, candidates’ applications are screened on the basis of their educational performance and previous work. A call letter will be sent to the shortlisted candidates via e-mail to appear in next round of ISRO Exam.
  • ISRO 2019 exam pattern organizes the written exam for the candidates to fill the vacancies of SC. In written exam total 80 multiple choice questions asked for maximum 240 marks. Every question is for marks. Duration for written exam is 90 minutes.
  • ISRO Exam has the clause of negative marking. For every wrong answer, 33% marks from the total marks that question contains will be deducted.
  • You will be called for the interview only if you clear the written exam.
  • To get a job in ISRO, you need to clear the interview because ISRO 2019 result will be based on the interview not on the written exam.
