Answer 1: In the budget 2019-20, Government of India (GoI) has announced to merge 3 public Sector Insurance Companies. The merger includes National Insurance Co Limited, United India Insurance Limited, and Oriental Insurance Company Limited.

Answer 2: SAANS: ‘Social Awareness and Action to Neutralise Pneumonia Successfully’ campaign has been launched by the Union Ministry for Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) to reduce child mortality due to pneumonia. The campaign was launched by Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan.

Answer 3: On November 16, 2019, Green Tea and White Tea of Darjeeling were registered under “Geographical Indication of Goods (Registration & Protection) Act, 1999”.
