Important Dates

• UPSSSC Recruitment 2018 notification release date is 24^th October 2019.
• Interested candidates can apply online from 31^st October 2019 onwards.
• The last date to apply online for of UPSSSC Recruitment 2018 is 30^th November 2019.
• Candidates can make the corrections in the submitted form till 7^th December 2019.
• The last date to submit the application fee is 30^th November 2019.
• Admit card release date and exam date for UPSSSC Sub Engineer is yet to be disclosed by the UPSSSC.

Application Fee

• The application fee for general and OBC candidates is Rs. 225/-.
• The application fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 105/-.
• For PWD candidates the application fee is Rs. 25/-.

As per the notification of UPSSSC Recruitment 2018, UPSSSC has total 1477 vacant posts for Sub Junior Engineers, Junior Engineers, and Foreman group. Here is the detail of vacant posts.

• Total vacant posts for Sub Junior Engineer Civil/Mechanical are 148.
• Total vacant posts for Sub Junior Engineer Civil are 982.
• Total vacant posts for Sub Junior Engineer are 111.
• Total vacant posts for Sub Junior Engineer Mudran Overseer are 06.
• Total vacant posts for Sub Junior Engineer Electrical are 07.
• Total vacant posts for Sub Junior Engineer Agricultural Engineering are 129.
• Total vacant posts for Sub Junior Doordarshan Engineer are 01.
• Total vacant posts for Sub Junior Engineer Automobile are 01.
• Total vacant posts for Electrical Junior Engineer are 07.
• Total vacant posts for Electrical and Mechanical Foreman group-1 are 03.
• Total vacant posts for Sub Junior Engineer Mechanical are 35.
• Total vacant posts for Sub Junior Engineer are 43.
• Total vacant posts for Computer are 04.

Out of total 1477 vacancies; 861 are for the unreserved category, 247 vacancies for SC and 12 for ST. Rest 357 vacancies are reserved for Other Backward Class candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: To apply for the above-mentioned vacancies of UPSSSC Recruitment 2018, the minimum age of the candidates should be 21 years and maximum age should not be more than 40 years. Candidates from reserved category will get the relaxation in the upper limit of the age as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: To apply for the UPSSSC Sub Engineer Recruitment 2018, interested candidates must have completed Three Year Polytechnic Engineering Diploma or equivalent courses in Related Field.

Please note that B.Tech or Higher Engineering Degree Holders will not be Eligible for UPSSSC Sub Engineer Recruitment 2018.
