The Uttar Parades Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is inviting the applications from the aspirants to fill up 49,568 vacancies in UP Police. The notification regarding the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 has been released.

Important Dates

• The online application submission has been started from 19^th November 2018.
• The last date for online application submission is 8^th December 2018.
• The last date to submit the application fee online is 8^th December 2018.
• The last date to submit the application fee through E-Challan (offline) is 10^th December 2018.
• The examination for the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 will be conducted on 4-5 January 2019.

• To apply for UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 the application fee is RS. 400/-.

Vacancy Detail

The Uttar Parades Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is conduction UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 to fill 31,360 vacant posts of Constable Civil Police and 18,208 posts of Constable in Reserved Territorial Armed.

• For Constable Civil Police 15,681 posts are available for general category candidates, 8,467 for OBC, 6,585 posts for SC and 627 posts are reserved for ST candidates.
• In Constable in Reserved Territorial Armed, 9,104 posts are available for general candidates, 4,916 are for OBC, 3,824 for SC and 364 vacancies are available for ST candidates.

For Constable Civil Police, both male and female candidates can apply but for Constable in Reserved Territorial Armed, only male candidates are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria

Age

To apply under UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 the applicant’s age must be in between of 18 to 22 years calculated as on July 1, 2018. For female candidates, the maximum age limit is 25 years.  Candidates from reserved category will get the benefit in the upper age limit as per the rules.

Educational Qualification

Candidate must be 12^th pass from any government recognized board or equivalent to this.

Physical Fitness

For Male Candidates

 Height: The minimum height for General and OBC candidates should be 168 CM. For other reserved categories, the minimum height should be 160 Cm.

Chest: For General and OBC candidates chest should be 79-84 cm. For other reserved categories, the chest should be 74-82 Cm.

For Female Candidates

Height: To apply for UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018, the minimum height for General and OBC  female candidates should be 152 Cm. For other categories, it should be 147 CM.

Weight: The minimum weight of female candidates 40 KG.

Selection Procedure

For UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018, candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test. In this test, the candidate will have to answer a total 300 objective type questions. These questions will be based on General knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability, Reasoning, I.Q and Mental Aptitude.

Candidates, who will pass in written exam, will be eligible for the further fitness test.  Selection will be based on the written test as well as physical fitness.
