Application Fee
Aspirants can pay the application fee through credit card, debit card or net banking. Here are application fee details.
- For General and OBC candidates: Rs. 450/-
- For SC/ST/PH candidates: Rs. 50/-
Age Limit:
Aspirants must be born on or before 02.08.1983 and not later than 1.08.2000. So the candidate’s age must be between 18 to 35 years (both included). Eligible candidates will get age relaxation as per the rule.
Educational Qualification

Salary and Other Benefits
NABARD is offering the basic pay 14650/- PM in the scale of Rs. 13150 -750 -15400 – 900 -19000 -1200-26200 -1300-28800-1480-33240 -1750 -34990 (20 years) to NABARD development assistant. Selected candidates will also be eligible for other allowances like DA, HRA, traveling etc.
NABARD also provides residential accommodation to its employees but it depends on the availability. Candidates will also get many additional facilities from NABARD.

Exam Pattern
The selection process of NABARD is divided into two phases.
Preliminary Examination
In the first phase, an online Preliminary Examination will be conducted. In the preliminary exam, the question paper will have 3 different sections. Candidates will have to answer the questions related to English literature (40 questions for 40 marks), Numerical Ability (30 questions for 30 marks) and Reasoning (30 questions for 30 marks). Exam duration will be 60 minutes.
Main Exam
In the second phase of the examination, Main Exam will be conducted. This one will also be online. The main exam for NABARD development assistant reruitment 2018 will be of 200 marks. 5 different sections will contain total 150 questions and one descriptive section will have 5 questions.
Reasoning section will have 30 questions for 30 marks. 30 questions for 30 marks will be asked in the section on Quantitative Aptitude. GA (General Awareness) will have 50 questions for 50 marks. Questions related to banking, rural development, and agriculture are mostly asked in this section. Another section will be based on computer knowledge. Total 40 questions will be asked related to a computer for 40 marks. Test of English language will be descriptive. Candidates will have to write Essay, Report/ Letter Writing for 50 marks.
