Indian Air Force AFCAT 2018 Recruitment

The India Air Force has started recruiting its bright and young aspirants who would take to the skies very soon. The Bhatiya Vayu Sena takes to the skies and protects our country from its bird’s eye view. So if one has it in him to have a life full of adventure and flying supersonic its time to join the Air Force. The Air force has released their forms since 16 June 2018 and the last date is on 15 July 2018. The Air Force is recruiting for Commissioned officers in both the flying branch and ground staff. The application forms are out online for the AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) 2018.

  • Eligibility

The candidate having a science background with a 60% at his 10+2 level, with Physics and Mathematics is eligible for giving the entrance exam. However, students of B.E and B.Tech are also eligible for the same. In addition, the candidate should be born before the 2 July 1995 and not later than 1 July 1999.

  • AFCAT Important Dates

The application for the examination has been since 16 June 2018. Nevertheless, if you have just made up your mind is not too late since the last date for an online application is 15 July 2018. The dates for the test have been set for the first week of August.

  • Application Form

The application form will be available on the official site of the Air Force. Applicants now can apply online at https://afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/ . This link should be used to check important information from time to time about the upcoming examination. The first step would be registering yourself on the site. Once you have done that you will get a registration ID which will help you to further fill your form and also get all vital information regarding the examination that you are about to appear for.

  • AFCAT Exam

The AFCAT is the very first step that you take when you apply to the Indian Air Force Academy. The exam is objective in nature. It ranges from General Awareness, Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, Military Reasoning, Aptitude Test. There are about 300 problems to solve in a matter of 2 hours. Every right answer will fetch you three marks on the score however, every wrong entry will get you a negative marking of one for every answer. Since objectivity is of utmost importance, swiftness and accuracy is going to play a major role. Practicing such questionnaires will give you and upper edge. The practice after study should be done in a time bound environment.
