Every year, the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) conducts the Common Admission Test (CAT) to shortlist candidates for admissions to their master’s degree programmes. Recently the exam schedule and notification for IIM CAT 2018 has been released on the official website of the IIM. Registration for the examination starting today, 8th of August 2018 and will end on September 19, 2018.
The exam is to be held on November 25, 2018 and the students can download their CAT 2018 admit cards from October 24-November 25. Result to be tentatively declared in the 2nd week of January 2019.

The IIM CAT 2018 registration started and the last date to apply is September 19, 2018 till 5:00 PM.
New candidates can register using the “Register” option or can click here
Registered candidates can click here to login using their user ID and Password.
Remember to select the test city of your choice to appear for the CAT 2018, in case you do not get your preferred cities, you will be allotted a city near to your place.
Candidates can also register for non-IIM Institutions that are interested in taking students based on the CAT 2018 scores for their Post Graduate Programme for 2019-2021 batch. Use the below link to register:

IIM CAT 2018 Eligibility
Candidates eligible for CAT 2018 belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories should have minimum 45% or equivalent CGPA, whereas NC-OBC and General candidates should have minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates must also fulfill any of the below conditions:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree with required CGPA or marks.
- Completed professional degree (CS/CA/ICWA) with required CGPA or marks.
- Appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree with required CGPA or marks
CAT 2018-Application Fee:
For SC/ST/PwD candidates – Rs. 950
For General and other candidates – Rs. 1900
Selection Process- CAT 2018
The IIM CAT shortlisted candidates need to appear for second stage of selection conducted by respective IIM, for which they have been selected. The second stage of each IIM may differ from each other. In general, the second stage selection process may include a Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion, followed by a Personal Interviews (PI).
