The Panchayati Raj Department, Bihar is looking for the eligible candidates to fill the vacancies for the posts of Technical Assistant and Accountant cum IT Assistant. The notification of Bihar PRD recruitment 2018 has been released on the official website of the Panchayati Raj Department, Bihar.
According to the Bihar PRD recruitment, there are total 2096 vacancies for the posts of Technical Assistant and 2096 vacancies for the post of Accountant cum IT Assistant.
The Bihar, PRD aims to recruit candidates under the ‘Mukhyamantri Gramin Payjal Nishchay Yojana’ and ‘Mukhyamantri Gramin Gali-Naali Pakkikaran Nishchay Yojana’. Selected candidates will work under the government of Bihar on a contract basis. Their job will be like Bihar government jobs but their salary and other benefits will not be equal to the permanent employees of Bihar government.

The online form for the posts of Technical Assistant and Accountant cum IT Assistant is free of cost.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
For the post of technical assistant, the candidate must have done Civil Engineering Diploma from the recognized Polytechnic institute.
For the post of accountant and assistant, the candidate must have completed his/her B.com. If any of the candidates have done M.Com or C.A. then he will get a bonus of 20% marks.
Age
To apply for the above mentioned jobs under Bihar PRD the minimum age of candidates should be 21 years. Maximum age limit for the male candidates from the general category is 37 years and for the females from general category is 40 years.
Age limit for the males from SC/ST is 42 years and for BC/EBC (Male/Female) it is 40 years.
Selection process
Selection of the candidates will be merit based. In case of same marks, the elder applicant will get the preference for the job.
Pay Scale
The selected technical assistant will be eligible to receive Rs.27, 000 as their monthly pay.
The selected candidates for the posts of Accountant-cum-IT Assistants will be eligible to receive Rs.20, 000 as their monthly salary.
