Vacancies Details
BARC is inviting the application for various posts. According to the official notification of BARC recruitment 2018, the vacant posts are divided into 2 categories. Category–I have total 86 vacancies and Category-II has total 138 vacancies.

Category –I
- Chemistry: 02
- Physics: 01
- Chemical: 10
- Mechanical: 03
- Electronics & Communication : 02
- Instrumentation : 01
- Electrical: 03

Eligibility Criteria for Category-I
Age: To apply for the category-I the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum age should be 24 years.
Educational Qualification: To apply for the posts of chemistry and physics, the candidate must have cleared B.Sc. with the relevant subject with minimum 60% marks.
For rest of the positions candidates must have completed Diploma in Engineering – 3 Years after SSC or 2 years after HSC/BSc with minimum 60% marks.
Stipend: Selected candidate for category-I will be eligible to get Rs. 16000 per month for the 1st year & Rs. 18000 for the 2nd year as stipend.

Eligibility Criteria for Category-II
Age: To apply for the category-I the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum age should be 22 years.
Educational Qualification: To apply for the posts of Laboratory Assistant and Chemical Plant Operator, the candidate must have scored minimum 60% marks in his HSC with PCM or minimum 60% in SSC with science and maths. To apply for Chemical Plant Operator, diploma in Chemical Plant Operator for one year will also be considered.
For rest of the positions, candidates must have completed their SSC with Science and Maths along with ITI ( or minimum 1 year of Diploma).
Stipend: Selected candidate for category-II will be eligible to get Rs. 10500 per month for the 1st year & Rs. 12500 for the 2nd year as stipend.
Candidates will have to clear a written exam to be a part of BARC.
Application Fee
For Stipendiary Trainee Category-I the application fee is 150 and for Stipendiary Trainee Category-II application fee is 100.
