What Types of Questions are Asked

The bank exams are conducted in computer-based mode and are of objective type.

Quantitative Aptitude Questions 

Questions are asked from quantitative aptitude that include problems related to distance and time, probability, profit and loss, percentages and more. The questions are to test the numerical ability of the candidate.

Verbal Ability Test

The verbal aptitude section is to test the skills of candidates in English language. The questions asked in this topic range from fill in the blanks, reading comprehension and sentence arrangements. Individual’s with strong grasp of grammar can easily score well in this section. This is considered as the easiest section of the exam.

Test of Reasoning Ability

As the name suggests this section is to test the reasoning and analytical skills of the candidates. Questions include puzzles, syllogisms, seating arrangements, coding-decoding and more.

Test of General Awareness

This is an important and easy to score section of the exam. This section tests candidate’s banking/economic/general awareness. It’s easy to grab marks in this section if you are fond of reading newspapers.

To get shortlisted for interview, candidates need to clear two different cutoffs. The first one is the sectional cut off and the other is overall cutoff.
