• For male candidates from the general category, the vacant posts are 93.
• For female candidates from the general category, the vacant posts are 17.
• For male candidates from SC category, the vacant posts are 28.
• For female candidates from SC category, the vacant posts are 05.
• For male candidates from ST category, the vacant posts are 14.
• For female candidates from ST category, the vacant posts are 02.
• For male candidates from OBC category, the vacant posts are 50.
• For female candidates from OBC category, the vacant posts are 09.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

To apply for the ITBP Constable (Telecom) Recruitment 2018, interested candidates must have completed Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent or have completed diploma or Certificate Course from an Industrial Training Institute or any other recognized Institution.

Age Limit:

The minimum age to apply for ITBP Constable (Telecom) Online Form 2018 should be 18 years and maximum age should be 23 years. To apply for the above-mentioned post, the candidate should not have been born earlier than November 28, 1995, and not later than November 27, 2000.

Candidates from reserved category will get the relaxation in age as per the government rules.

Physical Standard:

To get a job under ITBP Constable (Telecom) Recruitment 2018, a candidate must pass some physical standards. Here is the detail of same.

• For males of all states and Union Territories, minimum height should be 170 cm and chest should be 80-85 cm.
• For females of all states and Union Territories, minimum height should be 157 cm.
• For the male candidates from Garhwali, Kumauni, Dogras, Marathas, and candidates from Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu, and Kashmir, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Himachal Pradesh, etc. the minimum height and chest for the male candidates is 165 cm and 78-83 cm and minimum height for female candidates from the mentioned region is 155 cm.
• For male candidates from ST, the minimum height and chest is 162.5 cm and 76-81 cm. For female candidates from ST, the minimum height is 150 cm.
