The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is inviting the applications from the interested and eligible applicants for various posts. IBPS has also activated the link for the applicants so that they could apply for the post of Group “A” Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B” Office Assistant (Multipurpose) across various Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) online.

 The online application submission process to apply for the aforementioned posts has been started from 18th June 2019 onwards. It is a golden chance for the candidates who are looking for a secure and stable government job.  In this post, we have compiled all the information related to IBPS RRB Recruitment 2019. Vacancy Details 

This year IBPS has announced approx 8000 vacancies to recruit the candidate on the post of  Officer cadre and Office Assistant. Interested candidates have the option to apply for one or more than one post if they fulfill the eligibility criteria.  Here are the numbers of vacant posts released by IBPS;

• Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 3688 Vacancies
• Office Scale I (Assistant Manager): 3382 Vacancies
• Officer Scale-II (Gen Banking Officer):893 Vacancies
• OfficerScale-II (Information Technology): 76 Vacancies
• Officer Scale-II (Charted Accountant): 24 Vacancies

• Officer Scale-II (Marketing Officer): 45 Vacancies
• Officer Scale-II (Agriculture officer): 78 Vacancies

Important Dates

• The online application submission process for the aforementioned vacancies has been started from 18 June 2019.
• The last date for the registration and to apply for the most suited post is 4 July 2019.
• The last date to pay the application fee is 4 July 2019.
• Call letter will be available for Pre Exam Training for Officer Scale –I in July.
• Pre-exam training will be conducted for the applicants of Officer Scale – I on 21 – 26 July 2019.
• Call letter will be available for Pre Exam Training for officer scale –II in July.
• Pre-exam training will be conducted for the candidates of Officer Assistant Post on 27 July – 1 August 2019.
• Online Examination for Officer Scale I Prelim will be conducted on August 3, 4 and 11.
• Online Prelim examination for the post of Office Assistant will be conducted on August 17,18 and 25.
• Result of online Prelim exam for Officer Scale I will be declared in August 2019.
• Result of Online Examination for Office Assistant will be declared in September 2019.
• Call letter for online Mains examination will be available in September 2019.
• The online Main examination for Officers post (scale I, II and III) will be conducted on 22 September 2019 and Mains exam for Office Assistant post will be arranged on 29 September 2019.
• Result of Mains exam will be released in October 2019 and in same month only the call letter for the interview round will also be released online.
• Interview round will be conducted in November 2019 and the provisional allotment will be done in January 2020.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS RRB 2019 Recruitment     

• Office Assistant – A fresh graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent can apply for this post.
• Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager) – Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent (without any prior experience) to apply for this post. Candidates having a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy will be preferred.
• Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager)- Applicant must have completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to apply for this post. Experience of two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution is also required.  Candidates having a degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy will get the preference.
• Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager) (Information Technology Officer) – To apply for this post the applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 1 year of experience is also required in the relevant field.
• Chartered Accountant – Applicant needs to be a Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with 1-year experience in the relevant field.
• Law Officer – Interested candidate must have a Degree from a recognized University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Applicant must have worked for 2 years as an advocate in Banks or Financial Institutions.
• Treasury Manager – Applicant must be a Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution with 1-year experience in the relevant field.
• Marketing Officer – Candidate must have completed  MBA in Marketing from a recognized university and carries the experience of 1 year.
• Agricultural Officer – Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to apply for this post. It is also recommended to have an experience 5 years as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
• Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)- Applicant need to have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to apply for this post.

Age Limit

• Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Between 18 years and 28 years
• Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager) – Above 21 years – Below 40 years
• Officer Scale-II (Manager)- Above 21 years – Below 32 years.
• Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager) – Above 18 years – Below 30 years
• Applicants from the reserved category will be eligible to get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules.
