BARC Diploma in Radiological Physics: One-Year Post-M.Sc Programme Admission 2019



The Radiological Physics and Advisory Division (RP&AD) of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is inviting applications for Diploma in Radiological Physics (Dip. R.P. course), which is a one-year post-M.Sc programme. The 58th Dip R.P. course is scheduled to commence from the first week of August 2019. The total number of seats allocated for the admission to the Dip.R.P course are 30, which includes 25 non-sponsored candidates and 5 sponsored candidates from the government institution.

Course Content

The BARC Diploma in Radiological Physics course will include:

The course will also include field training and practicals relevant to the practice followed by the medical physicists and radiological safety officers.

The duration for the field training will be 8 weeks, which will include four weeks at BARC and four weeks each at Radiation Medicine Centre (RMC), Mumbai and Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Mumbai.

Note: The medium of instruction throughout the training will be in the English language.
