Answer 1: The week long campaign called “Bharat Padhe Online Campaign” has been launched by the Ministry of Human Resources Development to improve online education in the country.

Answer 2: India has been assured a lon of 2.2 billion USD by the Asian Development Bank and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank to fight against COVID-19. The loan will be used for emergency assistance, alleviate poverty and budget support.

Answer 3: Plasma Therapy Treatment has been approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research as a potential treatment for coronavirus disease, COVID-19. In this treatment, the anti-bodies of person recovered will be entered in the body of critically-ill patients to boost their immunity.

Answer 4: On 11 April 2020, the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs, exempted aquaculture and fishing industries from Lock Down. These industries have to follow hygiene practices and social distancing as per the government directions.

The funding for this has been given by SERB (Science and Engineering Research Board), a statutory body working under the Department of Science & Technology.
