UPSC Combined Central Armed Police Force Assistant Commandant Exam 2019

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released online form for the Assistant Commandant Exam 2019. The candidates have to meet all the eligibility criteria before applying. Here in this article, we have shared the short details of the official notification released by the UPSC.

• Application process starts from 24.04.2019.
• Candidates can apply online on or before 20.05.2019 upto 6 PM only.
• The tentative date for the exam is 18.08.2019.
• Candidates will be able to download the admit cards in August 2019.

Application Fee

• The application fee for OBC and General Category candidates is Rs. 200.
• SC/ST and all category females are exempted from application fee.
• Payment of the fee can be made through Credit card/ Debit Card, Net Banking, or E Challan.

Eligibility

• The candidates should be 20-25 years in age as on 01/08/2019.
• Candidates need to have Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university in India.
• Candidates are also required to meet the physical eligibility criteria
  Height : 165 CM (Male), 157 CM (female)
  Chest: 81-86 CM (male)
  100 Meters Race : 16 Second (Male), 18 Second (Female)
  800 Meters Race: 3 Min 45 seconds (Male), 4 Min 45 Second (Female)
  Long Jump: 3.5 Meter (Male), 3 Meter (Female)
  Shot Put (7.26 Kg): 4.5 Meter (Male)

Selection Process

• The candidates will be selected based on their performance in two papers.
• The first paper will be Objective type with questions set in both English and Hindi Language.
• First paper will include questions from General Ability and Intelligence for 250 marks.
• The second paper will include General Studies, Essay and Comprehension for 200 marks. For essay writing, candidates can opt for either of the language, Hindi or English.
