SSB Constable Sports Quota Recruitment 2019

Online applications are invited from both male and female Indian citizens for temporary non-gazetted (combatised) and non-ministerial constable (general duty) posts in Group-C under sports quota in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs.

Selected candidates will be posted to serve in any part of India or outside of Indian Territory.

Pay Scale for SSB Constable Recruitment 2019

The pay scale for the posts as per the 7^th CPC is Rs. 21700-69100 and other allowance are as per the SSB rules.

Eligibility

• The age range for eligible candidates is 18 to 23 years. Age relaxation will be given as per rules.
• The educational qualification for the candidates is matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board in India.
• The sports qualification that the candidates should have: players who have represented the country in any recognized International events since 01.01.2017.

  Players who have participated in last World Cups, Olympic Games, and Asian Games.
                                                                                 OR
  Players who have won Medal in any sports tournament of National level since 01.01.2017 to the end date of application submission.
• The minimum acceptable height for male candidates is 170 CM and 157 CM for females. Men need to have 80-85 CMS chest.

Application Fee

• The candidates belonging to unreserved and OBC category need to pay Rs. 100 as application fee.

• Female candidates and candidates from SC/ST/Ex-servicemen are exempted from fee payment.

• The candidates can pay the application fee through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking or Challan of SBI.

• The application process started from July 13, 2019.
• Candidates have to apply for the SSB Constable post on or before August 8, 2019.

How to Apply for SSB Constable Recruitment 2019

• Interested candidates need to visit the SSB website, www.ssbrectt.gov.in
• Register and apply online by filling all the asked details and the game and category for which they are eligible.
• Candidates can edit the filled up application before the final submission anytime before end date for apply online.

Admit Cards

• Candidates can download the admit cards from the SSB website which will include all the information about the exam venue, field trial, Physical Standard Test and medical exam.

Selection Process for SSB Constable

The final selection of candidates will be made based on the total marks secured by the candidates in the field trial and documentation/checking of sports achievements. Merely scoring the qualifying marks and found medically fit won’t get candidates shortlisted as the merit will be determined based on the vacancies available after the completion of detailed medical examination of candidates.
