Important Dates

Odisha Public Service Commission is accepting the online applications from the candidates for the above mentioned posts. The online application submission process will be open for the candidates for 30 days.

• The submission of the application to apply has been started from 17 July 2019.
• Interested candidates can send their application till 16 August 2019.
• Applicants can pay the application fee till 21 August 2019.

Application Fee

• Application fee for the candidates from the general and other categories rather than SC/ST is Rs. 500/-.
• Applicants belonging to SC/ST categories of Odisha state and PH candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee.
• The application fee will be non-refundable and can be paid through SBI Chalan or any other online mode.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• The minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years to apply for the post and maximum age should be 32 years.
• According to the board, a candidate must have not been born before 2^nd January 1987 and after 1^st January 1998 to apply for the vacancies mentioned aloft. 
• Applicants from the reserved category will get relaxation in upper age limit as per the rules.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineer from any university recognized by the State government or Govt. of India to apply for this post.
• Knowledge of Odia language is must as the posting will be within the state only.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official website of OPSC; www.opsc.gov.in or www.opsconline.gov.in and click on ‘Notification’.
2. Now click on Apply online button given on your left side at the bottom of the page of the website.
3. A new page will appear on your website click on ‘Apply Online’ link and you will be directed to another page.
4. Write the captcha code and tick agree on term and conditions box.
5. A form will appear on your screen, fill it, upload your photo, signature and thumb impression and submit after paying the application fee.
6. Once you complete all the above-given process take the hard copy of the OPSC Assistant Agriculture Engineer Application form for future reference.

Selection Procedure

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in written test and Viva Voce.

• The written test shall be of 200 marks and consisting 2 papers.
• 100 marks will be given yo each paper. The duration of the written test shall be 2 hours.
• In the written exam, no marks will be deducted on wrong answers. 
• Those candidates who will qualify the written test shall be called for the viva voca.
• A list of the qualified candidates will be prepared based on their category and applicant will high marks will get a chance to appear in second phase of the selection procedure, the viva voca.
