Know Everything About SSC CPO SI Recruitment 2018

SSC CPO Recruitment 2018 has already begun. 1223 vacancies have been released for posts like CAPFs, ASI, and SI in Delhi Police. The application process was started on 3rd of March and it will continue till 2nd of April.

Exam Date

SSC CPO SI 2018 Paper I will be held in between the 4th and 10th of June 2018. This examination is held annually. Further details regarding this are given below.

The important dates for SSC CPO SI are as follows-

• 3rd March 2018 – SSC CPO Notification Released
• 3rd March 2018 – Application started for SSC CPO SI
• 2nd April 2018 -Last date for submission of SSC CPO online form
• May 2018 – Admit card to be released for Tier I Exam
• 4th to 10th June 2018 – SSC CPO SI exam date (Tier I)
• August 2018 – Results to be announced
• September and October 2018 – Physical Endurance Test/ Physical Strength Test & Medical
• November 2018 – SSC CPO 2018 Admit card (Tier II) to be released
• 1st December 2018 – SSC CPO SI exam date (Tier II)
• January 2019 – SSC CPO SI results

Eligibility criteria for SSC CPO SI are as follows-

Candidates need to have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from Recognized Board. SSC CPO SI age limit is between 20 to 25 years. age relaxation is provided to the reserved categories, which is as follows-

• SC/ST- 5 years
• OBC- 3 years
• For Group ‘ B & C’ posts Ex-Servicemen (Unreserved/General) – 3 years
• Ex-Servicemen (OBC)- 6 years
• Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST) – 8 years
• Central Govt. Civilian Employees (General)- up to 40 years of age
• Central Govt. Civilian Employees (OBC) – up to 43 years of age
• Central Govt. Civilian Employees (SC/ ST) – up to 45 years of age

He or she should be a citizen of India, the subject of Nepal or Bhutan. A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1962 is also eligible for applying. For further details regarding the eligibility, check out the SSC CPO SI  2018 notification.

SSC CPO SI 2018 Fee

The fee is Rs. 100 for the unreserved category as well as the OBC candidates. For female candidates or candidates belonging the SC/ ST / Ex-servicemen category do not have to pay any fee.

SSC CPO SI 2018 Syllabus

Both the exams will have Objective multiple choice questions. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks. The first paper will comprise of questions in General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension etc. the second paper will have English language & Comprehension. There will be a physical examination in between the papers. Tasks like 100 m sprint, long jump high jump, chest expansion will be conducted.
