Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) MT has invited application for the post of Management Trainee in Telecom Operations. Applications are invited from both internal and external candidates. Vacancy Details
Applications are invited for Telecom Operator (Internal) and Telecom Operator (External). Total number of vacancy is 300, with 150 vacancies for each.
For Telecom Operator (External), there are 76 vacancies for General category candidates, 23 for SC category candidates, 11 for ST category candidates and 40 for OBC category candidates.
Eligibility
Candidates who have Engineering Degree in Telecommunication/IT/Electronics/Electrical/Computer with minimum 60% marks are eligible to apply. Candidates with M.Tech and MBA degree are also eligible.
Age
The maximum age for a candidate is 30 years as on 01/08/2019. Age relaxation is as per the recruitment rules in BSNL, New Delhi.
Application Fee
General and OBC category candidates need to pay 2200/- as application fee, while SC/ST candidates need to pay 1100/-. Candidates can pay the examination fee through Credit Card, Debit Card, OR Net Banking only.
Syllabus
The Online Assessment Test will include three sections, namely Management Aptitude, Cognitive Ability, and Technical Knowledge of 150 marks each. The total marks for the exam will be 450 and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours. The Assessment test will include multiple choice/objective type questions, where 25% marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Selection Procedure
The management trainee (Telecom Opeartions) will be selected based on Online assessment process, group discussion (GD) and interview.
All candidates applying for the position will have to undergo an online assessment test which will test their technical knowledge, management aptitude and cognitive knowledge.
Candidates shortlisted from Online assessment process will be called for document verification, GD and interview.
All selected candidates will remain on probation-cum-training for a period of 2 years (inclusive of 52 weeks of training). Also, the candidates have to sign a bond of 5 years to serve the corporation from the date pf their appointment as Management Trainee (Telecom Operations).
