Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the depiction of human intelligence process by machines, especially computer systems. These processes include learning reasoning and self-correction. Particular applications of Artificial intelligence include expert systems speech recognition and machine vision.

Types of Artificial Intelligence

Categorizing Artificial Intelligence might sound oblivious. However, AI can be classified into n number of ways. Below we tell you two examples:

Weak AI  
Strong AI

The weak AI is trained for a specific task for the virtual personal assistants; those are Siri, Google’s voice system, and Microsoft’s Cortana.

Artificial General Assistance, also known as Strong AI comes with a human awareness ability to find a solution to the toughest task when presented in an unfamiliar situation. Tuning Test in 1950 is supposed to be one of the best examples of Strong AI. It was a method, which could test whether a computer could think like a human or not.

Examples of AI Technology

Making a system work or function automatically is known as the term Automation. For example, Robotic process automation can be programmed on any machine. Where it can be programmed to perform any high-level tasks, which are normally performed by humans.

Pattern recognition is a branch of machine learning that focuses on identifying pattern in data.

An engineering field, which is solemnly dedicated to designing and manufacturing of the robots. It sometimes becomes difficult for humans to perform robots consistently.

However, robots are commonly used in the production of cars or by NASA to move larger objects in space.

AI Applications

AI in Healthcare

The biggest bets are on improving patient outcomes are reducing costs. Companies are applying machine learning to make better and faster diagnosis than humans. IBM Watson proves to be one the most acknowledged technology in healthcare. Understanding languages and replying to questions are some of its basic abilities.

AI in Business

Robotic process automation is being applied to highly repetitive tasks normally performed by humans. Machine learning algorithms are being integrated into analytical and CRM platforms to uncover information on how to better serve the customer.

AI in Education

We are not speaking about generating automated answer sheets or divulging in any illegal activity. AI can be used in the education system and proved beneficial with the help of generating grades, which will help the examiners. Also, AI can help keep track of students activities and performance.

AI in Law

The discovery process, sifting through of documents, in law often more overwhelming for humans. Automating this process is a better use if time and more efficient process.
